Ferroxtag inlay

Ferroxtag are High Frequency (13.56 MHz) ISO15693 and ISO18000-3 compliant. The key feature of these tags is the antenna: instead of using a simple air coil, the magnetic field is attracted by a high permeability ferrite that drives the field through the antenna. The antenna is parallel to the item, instead of perpendicular, making the tag almost independent of the item material (doesn't matter it is metal or liquid).

The Integrated Circuit used is NXP ICode SLI, so the tags can be read by almost every HF reader.

Dimensions are really tiny compared with the reading range obtained: 16 x 8 x 2.5 mm that can be read at 30 to 40 cm with a long range reader.

The inlays are delivered in standard tape on reel for optimal protection before assembly on the final item.
