Printed Circuit Board identification.

Thanks to the excelent performance of Ferroxtag when mounted on metals, it is possible to assemble the tag on the Printed Circuit Board together with the rest of electronic components. This possibility enables the identification of electronic equipment from the manufacturing site to the end user; and the best of all is that the equipment can be idenfied even without the need to switch it on.

The only requirement is that the housing enables the magnetic field to get into the device. Plastic encapsulations (such as used on laptop computers are mobile phones) are preferred.

This enables maintenance of the equipment, asset identification, product information storage (owner, version, date of purchase...)
