Identify your equipment.
Asset tracking is one of the most common applications for RFID
technology. Detailed product information can be stored on the IC,
such as asset number, date of purchase, user, department, as well as
use the unique identification number as index for search in a
database.
Even so, many assets are metallic items: from machines and tools
to cars and automotive related parts. But electronic equipment is
also difficult to identify using RFID due to the Copper used on the
Printed Circuit Boards.
Ferroxtag enables easy and reliable identification, even screwing
or ribbetting the Ferroxtag on the item. The encapsulation is robust
enough to withstand harsh environments, and the size is small so can
be placed even in laptops.
